The Michigan Aeronautical Science Association (MASA) is the student-run rocketry team at the University of Michigan. They believe in a multidisciplinary approach to engineering, uniting students across campus to design, build, and launch liquid bi-propellant rockets.
In 2018, MASA was the first collegiate rocket team to launch a liquid-propelled rocket for the Spaceport America Cup. Their previous rocket, Clementine, utilized state-of-the-art avionics, aerostructures, and propulsion systems to become the largest student-built rocket to launch in the United States!
